FOOD SERVICE SALES REPRESENTATIVE K-12 SCHOOLS

Salary $60,000 – $78,000 base plus bonus depending on experience.
Candidate will be calling on an East Coast U.S. territory and currently
living there. No relocation for this position.

Position requires skills in all aspects of Sales Management for specific accounts, regions, or industries to include:
Key account management, broker management, qualifying new accounts, meeting sales objectives.
Managing price guidelines, managing program spending, and managing inventory and availability.
Position requires knowledge of the Education segment, specifically K12 federal program guidelines related to Meal Pattern Requirements.
Knowledge of procurement regulations for doing business with government entities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 4 year college degree (Bachelor’s) – Marketing or Management preferred
• 5 years in food service sales or food service procurement
• 2-4 years of K12 /Education sales or operations experience preferred
• Broker management experience beneficial & preferred
• Interpersonal Skills related to effective relationship building and customer references

Food Service Sales Representative -K-12 Schools TEXAS

This position requires skills in all aspects of Sales Management for specific accounts, regions, or industries to include: key account management, broker management, qualifying new accounts, meeting sales objectives, managing price guidelines, managing program spending, and managing inventory and availability. In addition, this position requires knowledge of the Education segment, specifically K12 federal program guidelines related to Meal Pattern Requirements as well as procurement regulations for doing business with government entities. Education/ K12 Segment Specific Knowledge / Menu Solution Selling / Relationship Building
Demonstrates a working knowledge of USDA Child Nutrition Programs (NSLP, SBP, SFS, FFVP, CACFP) and how our products fit the programs.
Cultivate relationships with Top 10 – 20 School Districts in each Market, both current & new
Ongoing training and development to stay on top of regulations / implementations / changes

Broker Management
Management of the K12 food service broker personnel within the assigned region of responsibility
Works very closely with Food Service Region Manager (FSRM) to develop, execute, and measure K12 plans & objectives and provides ongoing communication with FSRM
Utilizing and sharing market research and industry data and reporting tools to set & achieve objectives
Maintaining industry contacts and relationships / networking / partnerships
Sets K12 Distributor Target Objectives and provides analysis and reporting

Cultivating Existing Customers / New Customers
Adding new stock keeping units (SKUs) to Menu / Ingredient Lists / Bids:Commodity & Commercial
Builds compelling presentations to increase sales by menu additions / changes
Building rapport with key customer personnel

Business Building / Managing Spending and Account Participation
Trade Marketing Programs – Cool School /State & Local Shows
Pricing – Bids / Commercial & Commodity
K12 Broker & Customer Training / Workshops
Food Show Participation – National / State / Local – some weekends mandatory
Business Analysis & Special Projects

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience
4 year college degree (Bachelor’s) – Marketing or Management preferred
5 years in food service sales or food service procurement
3-5 years of proven broker management experience within food service
Broker management experience beneficial
Computer Proficiency – Microsoft Office Software / Good proficiency in Excel & Powerpoint
Interpersonal Skills related to effective relationship building

Work Environment
Able to travel via car or airplane
Able to carry and set up displays for food shows
Able to work weekends

ASSOCIATE BRAND MANAGER

Local candidates only (Rutherford, NJ commuting area). NO relocation.

The Associate Brand Manager will assist the Director of Marketing in planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies, advertising and promotional activities.

The Associate Brand Manager is responsible for the execution and day-to-day activity of company’s Food Service brands in the North America Market, ensuring that all brand activities are implemented to deliver against the business and brand objectives.

BA/BS degree in Business or related field is preferred. MBA a plus.
Minimum of 2-3 years Food Service Channel Marketing experience REQUIRED,
Food Service brand marketing experience a plus.
Beverage marketing experience a definite plus.
Ability to manage and deliver against key initiatives and project objectives.
Ability to make sound business decisions that balance a variety of factors in a complex operating environment.
Ability to work and influence cross-functional team members as needed.

Ability to work independently and make decision as needed to ensure projects continue to progress against the set timeline.
